StepUp™ was founded in 2003 by Ela Langford. It started when her compassion for people, facing times of decision-making, constrains and/or change and her passion for the freedom to fulfill personal and collective potential got 'talking'.
Her desire to see, people overcoming performance barriers,make changes easily based on evidence data along with the aspiration for human development with integrity and scientific innovations, as a true support tool for personal and group growth, led the way in developing StepUp's test and development tools.
Ela has enjoyed a long professional career as a counsellor in private practice, and brings more than 10 years in postgraduate training in the applied group modality to the StepUp program.
Ela has many years of experience in the usefulness and success of the Morenian approach as a training and development tool. She is passionate about helping individuals and groups optimising resources, talents and skills to turn constraints into opportunities.
Over the past nine years Ela has turned her strengths in diagnostic skills, knowledge, expertise and extensive training to develop StepUp’s unique Evaluation & Talent Development tool. The tool and its revolutionary new approach has been professionally and independently assessed and validated to identify personal strengths and growth opportunities within the work environment.
Francois Gillain immigrated to New Zealand in 1977 after having completed a double major in accountancy and economics from the University of Paris. He also completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, majoring in accountancy.
Francois brings to his role as an organisational adviser a wealth of skills, among them his extensive accountancy and business consultancy practice in the private and corporate sectors.
His excellent communication skills combined with his ability to think outside of the square and his depth of knowledge and experience about business systems and practices make him an ideal adviser to any StepUp client looking to improve their organisational performance.
